通気性のよい薄手の平織りコットン生地で大判ハンカチを作りました。
サイズは53cm角とバンダナの定番サイズほどあり使い方も色々ありそうです。

meduraka
めづらか（珍か）とは、普通と違っているさま。めったにないさま。風変わりである。などを意味する、今では一般に使われなくなった言葉、いわゆる古言です。
　
自ら集め育てている塊根植物（コーデックス）をはじめとする「珍奇植物」をカメラに収めたり植物園に出かけて撮りためた植物のたくさんの画像を眺めているうちにこれらを使ったテキスタイル意匠を作ってみたい衝動に駆られたのがそもそものはじまりでした。
画像の選抜からそれらを取り込み色々なエフェクトをかけてモチーフを制作。バランスを考えながら構図を作っていきコツコツと作業すること半年あまり、色合いに関してはトーン・オン・トーンで仕上げていきインクジェットならではの意匠にしようということは当初から決めていたので、微妙に色目を振りながら根気よく幾重にもグリーンを重ねていきました。
少しヴィンテージ感も出したかったので紙に焦げ目を作ったりして、それらも取り込んでエフェクトの一つとして同系色の柄にアクセントとして使ってみました。

53cm square bandana is very versatile. Use it with your inspiration as a bandana, a kerchief, a fashion item, an interior cloth and so on.

meduraka
mezuraka (rare) is a state of being different and rare occurrence from the norm. It is an old word that is no longer in common use.
　
It all started when I was looking at the many images I had taken at botanical gardens and was inspired to create textile designs using these plants.
I took in a selection of images and applied various effects to create motifs. I had decided from the beginning to use tone-on-tone coloring to create a design that could only be achieved with inkjet, so I patiently layered the greens over and over while subtly shifting the colors, even I burnt the paper to draw to give a vintage look.
